Project Summary
Unite & Be Proud is an annual Pride initiative that celebrates creativity, community, and inclusion. For three years, our agency has designed custom Pride-themed apparel in-house with 100% of profits donated to local LGBTQ+ organizations, including Tampa Pride in 2022 and the Rose Dynasty Foundation in 2023. What began as a T-shirt fundraiser has grown into a full campaign, complete with a branded website that spotlights the lesser-known LGBTQ+ history of Florida and the Tampa Bay area.
My Role
Worked with Art Directors to design the UNITE & BE PROUD logo and apparel artwork.
Concepted and planned the promotional photoshoot, developing moodboards and selecting location spots.
Partnered with the in-house production team to capture launch photos of the apparel collection.
Used campaign photography to craft social media posts and wrote promotional copy to drive sales.
Researched LGBTQ+ history in Tampa and Florida, collaborating with a copywriter, art director, and web designer to build a branded website highlighting these stories.
Managed paid media spend to increase reach and visibility across platforms.
Coordinated with the external PR team to secure media coverage and expand campaign awareness.
Objective
With 4.8% of Tampa Bay residents identifying as LGBTQ+, the goal was to boost awareness for the Rose Dynasty Foundation's mission by providing resources to enhance their goal of promoting inclusion. Our measurable goals were to increase sales by 25% YoY and reach 10,000 locals on social media.
Results
The Unite & Be Proud Campaign achieved remarkable results, with a 60% year-over-year increase in sales and an impressive reach of over 18,000 individuals in the Tampa Bay area through our social media channels.

The Unite & Be Proud website expanded the campaign beyond apparel by celebrating the untold stories of Florida’s LGBTQ+ history. Designed to educate and inspire, the site features historical milestones, local changemakers, and cultural moments that shaped Tampa Bay’s queer community. Through vibrant visuals and thoughtful storytelling, it became both a digital extension of the campaign and a lasting tribute to Pride in our community.
