Project Summary

For Pride, we partnered with the Rose Dynasty Foundation to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ youth homelessness. Research revealed that 28% of LGBTQ+ youth have experienced homelessness or housing instability, and 14% have been forced to sleep away from home after being kicked out or abandoned. These insights guided the creative approach, leading to a social video depicting a video chat between a teacher and a homeless student, brochures disguised as report cards, and a poster series illustrating the harsh realities of homelessness. The campaign used storytelling and empathy to turn difficult statistics into a message of awareness, understanding, and hope.

My Role

  • Concepted, shot, and edited the campaign video, managing talent and scheduling; designed and animated a custom FaceTime-style interface blending live action with motion graphics.

  • Collaborated with the photographer, art director, and copywriter to design a poster series.

  • Researched key statistics and coordinated citywide distribution of brochures to raise awareness.

  • Gathered analytics and edited/animated the final case study video used for award submissions and new business pitches.
